Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics she took gold in both team floor and the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded by the balance bar. She became one of the very first American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. In the 2016, Olympics she was awarded a gold medal for the team event, which brought her as well as co-teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been among the few Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. She also won silver medals in the individual all-around event as well as for the floor. Between the Olympic Games she won, she took a break. Her gold medal winning American team also took home 2 World Championships. She learned gymnastics from the age two, and her most loved sport is floor exercise. Aly is a supporter and member of Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who passed away due to cancer. As for the future, she hopes to build a career in fashion. It is also her dream to expand her line of leotards as well as her socks. She is writing a book titled Fierce that will be released later this year.
