Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore has been an Hollywood author and actress for several years. She is also acclaimed by the critics. Sagittarius by birth the actress was born on the 3rd of December 60 at North Carolina. She's the oldest of children from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper as well as Anne who is a psychology student. She has English and Scottish heritage. Moore was a struggle because her family was constantly moving due to her dad's job. Moore started acting in plays during her time at Frankfurt American High School when her family moved to Germany. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. in Theater. Moore started her acting career off Broadway at New York, after she had graduated. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first films. Her role in critically acclaimed Short Cuts (1993) was rewarded with several nominations. Moore got her first role in the role of a leading lady in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg, who was the director of Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, and one of the highest grossing movies, cast Moore as the main actor. She received a SAG award nomination for Magnolia during 1999. She was in co-starring roles with Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep as well as others in The Hours, which was nominated nine times for Academy Awards. Moore was also in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore has been in many movies and television shows. Her most recent starring role is When You Finish Saving the World (2022). The actress has made herself known in Hollywood and is also an author of children's books. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and it was an N.Y.T. bestseller. It was adapted as the basis for a musical and TV series. Her book of 2013 entitled My Mom Is A Foreigner, was also a bestseller. Moore's private life has been revealed as she is a successful author and actress. Moore married John Robin back in 1984, and the couple divorced in 1996. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore later married in 2003, has two kids with her. Moore's entire life revolves around friends, career and family.
